Mike Williams was born in London, England in 1940 and has been drawing, sketching and painting all his life.

He lives in Suffolk, England and is a member of both Southwold Art Circle and the Society for All Artists. He regularly shows work at various society exhibitions.

Mike specialises in painting transport and bygones including classic cars, steam engines and is a regular visitor to local classic car shows and steam rallies. He also loves to paint horses, landscapes, seascapes and welcomes the challenge of other subjects.

He normally works in watercolour, ink and wash, mixed media and has recently been working with pastels.

If you would like Mike to create a painting of your pride and joy he will need a good clear colour photograph of the subject and a suggestion of where you would like it to be located. For example, a country scene, in front of a castle, on the drive to your home or somewhere else. The next thing to do is to contact Mike and if possible arrange a visit to meet him at a show or his studio to discuss size, price, etc.

Mike's original commissions, copies and cards are often purchased by family members as a special present.
